I’ve always loved creating natural skincare, and after years of researching ingredients, studying formulation, and making soap for my own family, The Bubble Jungle was born in Cairns, where the rainforest meets the sea.

All of my products are handcrafted in small batches, palm-oil-free, and made with carefully selected oils, botanical infusions, hydrosols, extracts, and clays. I prepare many of my oils through slow herbal infusions — calendula, chamomile, rhubarb root, alkanet, rosemary and more — because they create beautiful natural colour, a gentler cleanse, and a more nourishing bar.

Having a family with sensitive skin has made me passionate about choosing ingredients that respect the skin barrier. I learned firsthand how much difference it makes when you switch from detergent-based cleansers to true, traditionally crafted soap. It’s something many people underestimate — the skin is our largest organ, and what you wash with matters.  The difference is like going from a diet of processed sausage fat to grass-fed Angus steak: your body simply responds better when it’s given quality.

That same care goes into my body butters and skincare. I formulate each one from scratch using hydrosols, aloe juice, botanical extracts, and a blend of nourishing plant oils and butters. Every formula is the result of testing, refining, and balancing texture, absorption, and skin feel — creating rich, comforting hydration without heaviness or synthetic fillers.

I’m also committed to creating luxurious products without the luxury price tag. Every bar is intentionally formulated to be dense, long-lasting, and weighty in the hand, giving better value than the smaller, lighter bars commonly found in boutique stores.  Every recipe is carefully researched and tested, combining years of hands-on experience with a genuine love for natural skincare and honest ingredients.
